slowly but surely the networks are setting themselves up for unwanted poor
ratings on every new series if they continue cancelling shows without ending
them properly.
there are so many shows that make much more money over years, decades, doing
repeats than they do in the first broadcasts. this cancel on the first season
on a cliff hanger makes these shows worth shit.
yeah kill point did exactly what i wanted.

while that might be able to track viewerships for cable channels, how
does that gives a fair representation on network channel? at least nielsen's

and i am sick of everyone blaming reality tv for all the shows that are being
cancelled. reality shows are just like other genres. there are good ones and bad
ones. just like not other drama or comedy are good, not all reality are bad as
well. it might not be what you like, but that does not make it bad. i would
rather watch seasons of amazing race or project runway than to endure an episode
of two and a half men, according to jim, or moonlight.

it seems the way of the tv world. good shows get cancelled based on ratings.
is it the way to go? no, there has to be a better way. they should base it on
content and many shows will find their way to the trash can. i looked at
ratings and american idol had 29 million viewers and jericho had 1 million.
when i saw that i knew the fate of jericho. i don't like the reality shows and
that is killing good tv. if we want good tv we need to stop watching the
reality shows and watch the good, quality programs that are produced. maybe,
scifi channel may pick it up and keep it going. down with reality tv!!!!

ohh crap i really started to like the show i got used to the actors and all.
but if i think abouth it where could the show possibly go with the story i mean
the black man lost the nucklear bomb, the def girl got killed the old sherif is
dead and i think that never should of hapened in the show. killing the sherif
was kinda dumb move.they have made a new america and end of nuck war so what
else is there to talk abouth in the show..... this show would need a miracle to
come back and be interesting as it use to be.

i feel like the ratings of jericho are far from an accurate depiction of how
many people are watching this show. the truth is that this show is far before
its time and many viewers are simply downloading this amazing show so they can
watch it time after time. i for one can not even believe this turn of events,
considering that jericho had built a very loyal fan base and its not like cbs
isnt going to spend tons of money on even bigger piles of crap for next season.
personally i am tired of watching amazing shows go off the air at a whim never
to return (carnivale, dead like me, firefly). and much like after those programs
got axed prematurely, i am done with cbs for a long while. it is clear that the
network wants trite unoriginal content devoid of story or artistic merit.

just to be clear to all of you people saying that firefly was a good show... put
the crack pipe down. that show was god awful. the movie was good but the t.v.
show i couldnt take 5 mins of it.
as for jericho, peace out cub scout. i downloaded the first three ep's of the
new season, ended up watching the first ep, then deleting all three of them.
yea that pretty much sums that up for me.
and while terminator is far far from being stellar, its definitely better than
this flaming piece of crap. that show has two things that jericho doesnt,
ratings and potential.

this just plain sucks. what the hell was the point of the whole writers strike
if theyre just going to keep axing anything original? this is just further proof
that networks are run by retarded babies who have no arms or legs and wear a
paper bag over their heads. i sincerely hope that they get their act together or
burn the studios down. either way its better for the viewer.

jericho fing sucked compared to terminator. the damn show should never have been
brought back in the first place... but like aholes this is my opinion and
everyone has one but for real how good can a show really be to get canceled twice?

other aussie watchers as well. we can't do cold turkey .... *shaking head
vigorously* no ... no ... no .... we can't! at least they are going to finish
this season .... right! like, not leave us hanging, like ... forever! now i

i'm happy to see that there are brave enough producers out there willing to take
a chance at producing more shows for us viewers. without these brave lads and
lasses we'd have very little to watch in the first place. how boring would life
be then!?!?
i think at the end of the day, we all have our preferences on what's hot and
what's not. in my opinion at least.. i think jericho rocks!!! fantastic story
line with plenty of twists to the story to keep you entertained and in suspence.
has the same effect on me as heroes (another really great show)
i don't think the acting is that terrible... i've certainly seen shows that do
have crap actors/actresses and i don't feel this show is one of them. if
anything i think it's been one of the best shows the cbs has brought out in a
while. take smallville for example, i've been watching since se1ep1 and although
i've always enjoyed smallville there are going to be one or two episodes that
disappoint you and yet cbs let that run through to se7 and still going strong.
give jerico a chance people, it's a great show and still has quite a bit to
offer with plenty potential.
