all i can say is.... they can give season after season to real life crappy shows
that are boring and the same.... and when you need a good fictional unwind...
they get rid of the show...
i think jericho is a good show.. it may not be the best written according to
some of you it may not compare to other fictional shows but its better than
allot of the crap they keep giving season after season to...
please cbs listen to the fans.. the people that watch the show... look at the
downloads that are being done... specially in australia where all the good shows
never get a full season aired.... we like it!!!!!
so band together to keep the show going....

jericho fans should just be thankful that this show even get a second season. it
comes back to ratings that are lower than when it was cancelled last season, so
it's no surprise its cancelled.

likable. boring and generic.

the network ordered 7 episodes, and all 7 will be aired, hence the season is
complete.

i can't believe the discussion. we were lucky to get the 7 episodes and knew
there were only ever going to be 7 episodes.
the 6 so far have been brilliant and a big thank you goes out to the writers
and actors for making it as good as it has been. they could have just wound
it all up nicely in 7 episodes but the intrigue still remained until the end.

good riddance to bad rubbish! funny man doesn't mean to offend any fans of this
show, he knows it has a strong following, but funny man watched some of this and
it just felt like "donkey chasing a carrot" routine. ok, with that in mind,
funny man is off to watch some episodes of lost.....
if it's any consolation, funny man has it on good authority that sarah connor
chronicles is soon for the chop....and what a fine day that will be.
much love to all the funny man fans.

what do cbs do just create shows to cancel them. you think they would try and
do a better job on kepping jericho alive considering what lenghts fans went to
to keep the show alive. will there be a second time around for more nuts.
nutsonline.com might get another boost in business.

good riddance! jericho is one of those terrible fanboy shows: a small group of
people like it (or at least say they like it) that has to much time on their
hands so they spam the hell out of a network. well, instead of just spamming
and sending nuts, why not try to get more people to watch the show? if enough
people watch it, the network won't pull the plug. seems simple enough, yet
the 'fanbase' failed (unlike sending a few nuts, that would actually take some
work). the only reason that nobody watches it could be that jericho smells
like a week old turd and people with half a brain avoid it! so let's give it a
rest ok?
let's put this piece of sh*t out of its misery once and for all! and yes,
whilst doing so please pull the life-support from that terrible terminator
series.

i love jericho and i love terminator. no matter how much we argue
over the quality of script, plot, and acting, peer numbers on both would
suggest many many others see the merit in these two shows.
to tell the truth, i thought it was already a given that jericho was
cancelled and simply brought back for the second season in order to finish the
storyline - possibly the first sign of courtesy from a network towards
dedicated viewers of a show, regardless of ratings.
i think it is time for a new wave in the presentation of fictional television
series anyway ... ie complete storylines for each season. if a show gets the
required ratings then it gets another season to tell another story, but if it
gets cancelled, at least people wont feel left up in the air - 24,
californication, or even the kill point would be good examples of
such format. this would mean that networks won't waste time and money on an
incomplete product, and i also think it demonstrates a semblence of respect
towards both the viewers and the artists involved in it's creation.
viewers are becoming increasingly apprehensive about investing time in watching
new shows, due to the fear they may be left with a non-resolved cliffhanger -
this is especially true of those shows that may not immediately fall into a
predictably successful genre. certainly i felt i was taking a gamble when i
began watching the riches, and still do to some extent ... even though
it's started into season two.
slowly but surely the networks are setting themselves up for unwanted poor
ratings on every new series if they continue cancelling shows without ending
them properly. i think it was an intelligent decision by cbs to bring back
jericho and finish it ... a show of faith, if you will, that at least one
network is not totally ignorant of its viewers sensibilities - unlike fox (rude
pigs!).
as long as they end the storyline for jericho i won't be troubled by
it's cancellation ... rather i will be grateful that they completed what i
believe to be a compelling and engrossing tale.
