i can remember a few years ago we had some afl team come down here to nz for an
friendly game
they were taken to an all blacks vs australia game at eden park.
they couldnt believe that we didnt use helmets and pads and thought the players
were nuts

80 minutes of non stop action (no stopping everytime someone makes a play), and none of this padding

it's true that you could say gridiron is alittle more soft than rugby or
league but there just both differnt games and are obviously both good. i would
rather watch a rugby match over a nfl match though. thought thinking the
padding/helmets give them a licence for even bigger hits. the continious stops
in play is what bores me. it's a great game on sony because you can skip all
the stoppages haha.
