is it an issue of the people who encode these versions not belonging to eztv? or
is it a popularity issue, as most people are more interested in smaller,
lower-quality versions? because i have a hard time believing that more people
would rather see csi in 720 than shows like the office, chuck, house, or even cw
shows like reaper or supernatural. i understand csi gets major ratings, but it's
getting ratings from old people and those without technology. i just find it
extremely hard to believe it has a large following on eztv or the internet in
general. and i know almost all the shows are being ripped in 720p, they're
usually on piratebay the next day or two. so why the hate for the 720 fans?

i don't get it. what attitude did i display? how was i rude? i'm asking a very
valid question... more and more people are getting high-end display technology,
and more and more people are watching 720p. i just wonder why there isn't more
720p content being distributed here. is that a crime? i mean, if the admins say,
'we distribute whatever we want, don't ask questions', i guess i have to shut
up. i'm not breaking the rules, i'm not whining about a specific show being
released, i'm just asking why more shows aren't being released in 720p. is that
such a horrible thing to do? i guess i must have offended all the csi fans, i
had no idea there were any here. i'm sorry if you love csi and i offended you. i
take it back.

i don't know why you would ever want to watch a 350 on a hdtv once you have seen
a 720p. they are so clean you can eat of of them.
i could understand if you only have an sdtv, but if you have the screen for it,
(or are lucky like me and have an hd projector), there is no excuse not to hook
up your computer via dvi or even vga.
i really wish there was a way to get 720p rips faster and more reliably, though.
it seems like i keep having to wait till the next day 80% of the time. still,
totally worth it...
