first time on the forums so here goes.
i've been using eztv for about 12 months, downloading files with azureus. until
recently, i've been using 3.0.2.2 ( think that was the last version anyway) on
my old xp computer, but a few weeks back i picked up a new vista based pc.
i reinstalled 3.0.2.2 and setup the rss feeeds again and after a bit of
tinkering (forgot the "obey ttl" bit) i got it working fine. the only annoying
thing was that every time i booted it up it was asking me to download some kind
of media update - think it was 1.14 or something.
i decided that to try and get rid of this i would download the new 3.0.3.0
software, and thes oftware does work well, but now rss won't work at all.
i put the main eztv feed and the tvrss feed into the rssfeed scanner plugin and
it always shows in red text with some kind of error. i add the "exclusions"
filter and a couple of show filters(heroes, csi miami) and still it doesn't
work. and then when i close down azureus and reopen it, it hasn't saved any of
the feed/filter details so i have to type them in all over again.
has anyone else had a similar problem or know of a work around?
thankfully i set a restore point before installing 3.0.3.0 so i'm going to
revert to that until a solution can be found.
