u and numaris must be plain stupid. what's wrong with posting comments on the quality of this release? i haven't said it's been unwatchable, but it's been nuked nonetheless. isn't this the main purpose of this forum? to post comments on the quality instead of thank this and thank that gibberish? grow up kiddos. |

73 messages for stargate atlantis so4ep1. its really sad guys sorry to say it but its true. not saying its a bad show, just people getting so excited over a sci fi show is a bit worrying. dont abuse it me, its just my opinion |

http://www.gateworld.net/news/2007/09/doppelganger_gets_early_itunes_r.shtml  apparently 4x04 (doppelganger) got released by accident as 4x01 (adrift) on itunes. did any groups manage to dl it before apple/mgm realised their mistake and switched it back to 4x01? btw just finished watching 4x01. it's damn good to have atlantis back in my weekly download list. missed this show too much. thanks eztv. edit: novah, did you ever wonder why so many people get excited over sg1 and atlantis? it's because right now, they are the only good sci-fi shows on tv. andromeda's gone, trek finished (although it went majorly downhill in the end) and countless other good sci-fi shows have gone off the air. stargate is all that's left. personally i like the fact that stargate treats it's viewers like the intelligent people we are instead of a mass of reality-show watching idiots. the writers aren't afraid to fill entire scenes with pure technobabble or hilarious comedy (teal'c at the vagina monologues anyone?) and i love em for it. hell, in the past 10 years that i've been watching stargate, i've actually been inspired enough to research the things they've covered (black holes, quantum physics-etc) because, to a certain extent, they make it believeable whereas in trek it's all "dilithium this" and "let's run diagnostics that". don't get me wrong, i'm not an sg1/sga fanboy. if i see something i don't like in any tv programme (un-necessary killing off of characters, filler eps-etc) i'll criticise it. however, i like shows that inspire the viewer and make them want to believe in the story that's being told. stargate just happens to be one of the shows on-the-air that does that extremely well. |

anyone knows where to find "doppelganger" ? itunes made a mistake, they release 4.04 instead of 4.01, so doppelganger is out there but i can't find it... if anyone have a link... :d thanx |
