when azureus is finally able to manage dht per tracker, i will gladly turn it on for my tv-shows. right now it would ruin nearly every ratio-based private tracker i am using cause every non-member would be able to connect through dht. for general downloads on non-private trackers it is a very good idea indeed to turn on dht. |

umm, no. of the 5 caph releases of lost, only 1 has been nuked for out of sync (s03e12), and it was barely noticable. |

for all those people that were having problems with the audio and video not being in sync i had the exact same problem when watching till i went and downloaded the xvid codec. after i downloaded it the show ran fine with no problems. here is the codec http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

when you use dht it can take a while to build up some/any speed, and it's often very picky about your upload speed, if your not uploading to your best ability don't expect much dl speed. i finished watching the episode, it's a perfect rip, no pic glitches no audio pops or weird sounds, and the cutting (ad removal) was also perfect, so far i have found most of the caph rips are fine, there was some compatibility issues with stand alone players, but apart from that they are great. in fact i'd say this one and the previous caph rips had above average for pic quality, if you compare back to back one of the caph rips with the sorny rip, it's just a better pic, less compression artefacts and smoother in the darker scenes. as for the tracker status this week, i was on dht for the whole torrent, never got connected to the tracker, same with bsg and jericho only briefly found it, lost still downloaded at the same sort of speed i usually get, jericho maybe twice as long as it usually takes to dl, and bsg is taking forever... |
