hey sorry if this is in the wrong place - ive been downloading episodes lately
of 24. and im not sure if i need new codecs or anything but when i try play
the episode in realplayer it says i need an update (which it cant find). i try
play the file in vlc player and it works great. quality and stuff is fantastic
but there is 'some' audio missing. i can hear the background music etc but
when a character speaks - nothing comes out his/her mouth.
any help? once again - sorry if ive posted inappropriately.

which episode would that be then?
if it's a 700mb+ one then you most likely need an ac3 codec.
or, you could just get vlc player from videolan.org which plays pretty much
everything first time.

google for ac3filter. that should do the trick.
or you can get the 'kazaa lite codec pack'.
alternatively, just get vlc media player - it'll play just about anything that
you can throw at it. you can either get the installation version, or the
self-contained folder. videolan.org
