no one else noticed that there seems to be around 3 or 4 minutes missing?
the episode is only 40 minutes long where it's usually 43-44.
daniel seems to be cut off pretty quickly at around the 7 minute mark

this episode aired on sky one, which is in \"pal land\" that means the video
runs
at 25fps and at a 4% speedup. if you ever thought some of the people\'s voices
were higher pitched, this is why. because it runs 4% faster, that means instead
of 44 minute running time, it is now 40 minutes. all the content is there, just
slighty speed up.

i beg your pardon?

that is just about the dumbest thing i've ever heard.

first off a second is still a second no matter where in the world you are, secondly
as it's shown in different formats (ntsc and pal) the 5 pal frames are not just
removed from the ntsc 30 fps they are respaced!

grow a brain!

anyway, apart from anything else, your numbers don't even add up!

if the discrepancy really was caused by pal's 25 fps against ntsc's 30 fps then 5
of 30 equals approx 17%, not 4% as you (somehow) seem to think it is.!!!?!!???!?

and, in order for a 44 minute duration to become a 40 minute duration would mean a
speedup of approx 9%.

before using numbers in future i suggest learning to count first. fingers and toes
are a good start for this.

@ oobaka... you are correct, the ep is edited rather poorly.

it is you who is mistaken:

google -> pal speedup

i don't care if my example times were off, it doesn't matter. the video has a
4% speed up whether you believe it or not.

how does my lap top output 24 fps to a 50 fps tv with out speeding up the
picture or sound via a s-video lead, now even i'm confused.

this episode number is wrong!

this episode is 10x13 the shroud.....please ensure you number episodes
correctly...this is taken directly from www.scifi.com/stargate season 10 listings.
