think the problem was it started as a generic episodic "detective show"
then quickly shifted into a huge multi episode story arc...
if you missed a few of the first episodes it was fine you could jump back in, but as soon as the
story arc started if you missed a week you were lost! think that put viewers off...

what a load of bullshit. i guarantee that shit my dad says will be renewed and it's one of the worst
shows i've ever had the misfortune to watch, tv execs seem to have their heads up their asses most
times. how long did heroes last? it had chance after chance to get back to the standard that the
first season delivered and shows like terriers, freaks and geeks and undeclared get one season if
they're lucky. pisses me off.

oh come on !!
everytime i like a show for his strangeness (in a likeable way) it gets the axe.
europe can barely make a good show, and us crowd doesn't know how to appreciate clever shows.
we're doomed to see this happen again and again until one day "internet viewers" are taken into
account. but for now it's really sad.

this really sucks. this show was so good and i never missed an episode. fuck the bad ratings imo. if
you make good stuff people will eventually catch on and watch it. fx did a terrible job marketing
this show. it wasn't interested until i gave the pilot a chance. this is fx's failure and not the
failure of anyone involved in the making of this show.

not happy jan!!!!
i and lots of others who enjoy great productions am continuously dissapointed in suits posing as
executives with no thought process for enjoyable television.
ideas that are statistically bias, decisions that have not let the show run it's course, just revenue raising!
as i said continuosly dissapointed!!!!
it was and still is an interesting, intelligent show.
sad to think they believe we are all morons!

fx is owned by news corporation's fox entertainment group.
you'd think with the success of sons of anarchy, louie, archer, they'd give a chance to lesser
viewed new shows... no.
maybe there wasnt enough sex, or violence, maybe ppl were put off by the start (the whole phone sex
tape thing), i admit some episodes were a pain to watch (the divorce, repented alcoholic clich

got ep1 downloaded but not watched yet. is it worth it?
where it finishes off does it end up leaving a disappointing cliffhanger?
