Twelve chefs arrive on a remote island and are immediately thrown into the elements, forced to work in teams and cook without traditional tools or electricity. As they scramble to build their kitchens and struggle to light fires, each team must deliver a three-course meal for the esteemed judges. In round one, a venomous threat in the basket tests their nerve as unstable flames and clashing strategies threaten to derail both teams. The lowest-performing chefs are sent to the Gauntlet for a head-to-head battle. In brutal weather, they must break down and cook a formidable creature from the sea.
